Ingredients

  • 4 pita breads
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the pita breads on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Sprinkle the oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder over the pita breads. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake the pita in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the pita is crispy and golden brown.
  4. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a couple of minutes. Then, smash each pita bread into smaller pieces with your hands.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped parsley, and lemon juice over the smashed pita pieces.
